An independent publishing house based out of New Delhi, The Book Co. looks to publish only a few titles every year — maybe even none, if — but books that try to alter the status quo, books that conform to a higher literary tradition, books that dabble with the age-old art-for-art’s-sake conundrum once again.

The Book Co. also owns an imprint for self-publishing — Peacock.
